About Grace
Grace is a passionate Accredited Exercise Physiologist, who aims to educate & empower each individual she works with. She values the importance of holistic health and wellness, and the power of exercise as medicine.
Grace graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology, and has since completed post graduate studies in Exercise Medicine (Oncology) at Edith Cowan University.
She has worked across the private and public health care sectors, before finding her niche in Exercise-Oncology, and currently holds a position at the Olivia-Newton John Cancer Centre, within the Wellness & Supportive care division, providing specialised exercise physiology to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Grace is also involved in research projects imbedded into clinical practice and the supervision of university clinical placements. Grace has extensive experience working with a broad range of individuals across the cancer continuum and has a special interest in gynaecological cancers, breast cancer and melanoma.
Grace also has a demonstrated experience working with a broad range of patients/clients in the rehabilitation setting including general reconditioning, falls prevention & mobility, disability, metabolic disease, cardiac & pulmonary rehabilitation.
This year, she commenced a sessional educator role at Australian Catholic University (ACU) and is involved in the delivery of the Exercise-Oncology unit within the Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology program.
Grace is passionate about implementing the latest research findings into her clinical practice, to provide the most up-to-date education and exercise prescription to help improve the lives of those she works with.
In her spare time, Grace enjoys living by the beach with her husband and two little pug fur babies. Of course, she keeps active and enjoys the daily ritual of movement. She is an avid exerciser, part-time yogi, full-time pug-mum and lover of simple moments in the sunshine and by the sea.
